BUILDING HOMES IN MAINE SINCE 1983
A Legacy of Craft. A New Generation of Builders.
Founded by Roland Morrison, the company earned its reputation through decades of meticulous work, custom millwork, and an uncompromising attention to detail. That legacy still defines our standards. But the way we build today is shaped by the next generation — with Josh and Jenny leading every project from the ground up.
We are the faces you see on site. We’re in constant communication with architects, homeowners, and trades, making decisions in real time and pushing each project toward its highest potential. From early coordination to the final details, we’re hands-on, detail-obsessed, and fully invested in getting it right.
As a young, driven team, we bring fresh energy and perspective while honoring the craftsmanship that built RP Morrison’s name. Our work spans modern and traditional forms, urban and coastal homes, and highly detailed builds that demand precision and collaboration. We intentionally take on a limited number of projects each year so we can stay deeply involved and ensure every home feels thoughtful, personal, and enduring.
Rooted in Maine and grounded in experience, RP Morrison Builders represents a seamless transition from the old guard to a new era — where legacy meets momentum, and every project gets our full attention.
Josh brings an engineering mindset to every RP Morrison project, with a natural ability to bring the right people together and keep complex builds moving forward. With a degree in Electrical Engineering from Roger Williams University, he approaches construction with clarity, precision, and a deep respect for the process.
After spending time in New York, Josh returned to Maine over a decade ago to join the family business and help guide it into its next chapter. He works side by side with architects, homeowners, and trades, serving as a steady point of communication to ensure ideas stay aligned and architectural details are executed exactly as intended. His approach is straightforward, thoughtful, and shaped by the specific needs of each project and environment.
Outside of work, Josh spends much of his time immersed in music — building speakers and exploring vinyl. He enjoys traveling to new places, fishing, and spending time on the lake, often drawing inspiration from being outdoors and unplugged.
Jenny brings a design-trained eye to the construction process, helping bridge the gap between vision and execution. With a background in interior design and a deep appreciation for Maine’s landscape, she focuses on spaces that are functional, well-resolved, and thoughtfully detailed.
Her approach is practical and construction-minded — working closely with architects, trades, and homeowners to ensure that decisions translate cleanly from drawings to the built environment. Jenny is especially attuned to material selection, cabinetry, and finish coordination, helping projects move efficiently while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.
On RP Morrison projects, Jenny plays a key role in design coordination, problem-solving, and ensuring every detail aligns with the original intent.
Outside of work, she can usually be found outdoors — hiking, gardening, near the water, or traveling.
Olivia is the glue that keeps every RP Morrison project running smoothly. From managing incoming correspondence to double-checking details on site, she ensures nothing slips through the cracks. She organizes the Trello board, streamlines selections, and keeps everyone — from architects to trades — on the same page. Simply put, she’s the one quietly pulling the strings behind the scenes to make sure every project comes together flawlessly.
Originally from California, Olivia now calls Portland home. She has a keen design eye, enjoys pottery, kayaking, and exploring the Maine outdoors, and shares her life with her dog, Layla.
