How we do it
Once construction begins, communication becomes everything. Every job site is equipped with an iPad loaded with the complete project file—plans, specs, material selections, and schedule. Every tradesperson has access to the information they need, exactly when they need it.
We maintain bi-weekly meetings with you and regular site meetings with trades, creating multiple layers of communication that keep everyone aligned. Plans are treated as living, breathing documents—we're constantly asking questions, refining details, and solving problems as they emerge.
We have a "get it done" attitude without compromising quality. We've spent hours reviewing 80 stone slabs with a client to find the perfect one. We've adapted details on site when the built reality required refinement. We won't let anything be poorly resolved simply because we didn't ask the right questions.

Millwork
How we do it

We approach millwork the way a cabin is built: methodical, precise, and deeply considered. Our detailed shop drawings show exactly what will be fabricated, down to the joinery and hardware. At Morrison Builders, we maintain a curated materials library in our office—a working showroom where you can touch and feel finishes early in the design process. These are materials we've researched, tested, and specified on real projects. Items we love to use and stand behind.
This hands-on approach gives you a tangible sense of quality and helps you make confident decisions before anything is ordered. We coordinate closely with your architect throughout, ensuring material selections align with the design vision.
Handoff
How we do it
Before you move in, we conduct a final walkthrough to ensure every detail meets our standards and yours. We then provide you with a comprehensive handoff booklet containing every contact, product specification, warranty, and maintenance detail you'll need.
